The deceased are buried in different ways, some in rock cliffs, some in caves, some in boulders, some in mini-mausoleums, even some in trees. Here are a few views of burial methods, at different sites in Torajaland. | |
Kate'
Kesu, a nicely preserved traditional village. It has the tongkonan
houses and a cemetery in the cliffs in
the background. It also has a couple very interesting gift shops and some
interesting wood sculptures. Get a closer look
at the village. |
