| Kali Gaja Wong runs down the east side of Jogja, from the slopes of Mount Merapi in the north and into the Opak River south of the city. It feeds the lake in the beautiful Gambira Loka Zoo as it meanders by. The kampungs along the river are poor but very clean and attractive, and the people living in them are very friendly. We have too many photos for one page, so I have divided Gaja Wong's coverage into Kampung Warungboto (north) and Kampung Gambiran (south). | |
