NOTE:
My apologies! In 2019 I discovered that the name of the beach introduced
here as Ngrenehan is actually Nguyahan. I hope to correct the page title
in my lifetime. The beach presented here as Ngobaran actually is Ngobaran.

Pantai Nguyahan and Ngobaran are two of the most beautiful beaches on the southern coast. It takes a couple hours to get there, but the trip itself is quite interesting and pleasant, with its verdant winding and hilly road and small villages. I get mixed up over which beach is which, and I get different stories from different people. They're so close, though, it hardly matters.

Pantai Ngobaran is Nguyahan's neighbor, a short walk to the east.
Very cozy and intimate, but
everybody can see you from the top of the cliff to your back.

Ngobaran
Temple above Pantai Ngobaran reminds one of the Hindu temples on Bali.
The
ancient temples and art of Java are all pre-Islam, from before the 12th
century.
