This
is the Mt. Inwang section of the Seoul Fortress Wall, on the west side
of old Seoul. The wall extends all the way around the city, with an occasional
break for reality (as you can see at the lower left).
The
Seoul Fortress Wall runs 18.6 kilometers around old Seoul, not including
the intermittent breaks to allow for roads. All of it is easily walked
and most of it is through forest and up and down the high hills and low
mountains surrounding old Seoul.
Not
as bad as it looks. The morning haze lifted soon.

That's
Gyeongbok Palace. And way off in the background, across the Han River,
is the 123-floor Lotte World Tower.
