In case you haven't already read about Kali Gaja Wong in the Warungboto page, this river runs north and south on the west side of Yogyakarta. The neighborhoods on the banks of this river, like those on other rivers in Yogyakartra, are populated by the labor class; they are clean, safe and their residents are friendly and cheerful. On this page you will see photos of the Gambiran kampung (neighborhood).
He is selling beef soup. I am told that he can just barely raise a family of three or four with this work.
Mighty Lord of His Domain. Trash, though very obvious, is confined to one place in the kampung.
