This is a reconstruction of the gate to the Temple of the City God. It also serves as the main gate to the Muslim Quarter.
At this shrine candidates for the higher civil service exam prayed for success. It was part of the larger temple to the city god.

Intriguing: The name over the door of this mosque is that same as that of the Great Mosque. I can't find its real name. The next two photos are from this mosque.
