took Amtrak from Los Angeles to Cambria, about 400 miles north of Los
Angeles. Sparse, arid--and alternatively beautiful and intriguing.
This
is so-o-o LA, one aspect of it, anyway.
Ah,
the beauty of southern living! (About half way to Cambria, in what looks
like ranch country.)
