Three Southern Cities

In early 2017, instead of visiting the northern city Chiang Mai, I ventured into new territory, the Malay Penninsula south of Bangkok, to visit Phuket City, Nakhon Si Thammarat and Surat Thani.





Kopi Tiam Chinese restaurant, in the Chinese section of Phuket City. Phuket City is probably not what you think of when you hear "Phuket." The City is just an ordinary city, nice as it is, not very popular among tourists who want to hit the beach--Patong Beach--during the day and party at night.
