Lonely Planet: "A highly ornate religious pavilion called the Haw Pha Bang--a project planned before the monarchy was abolished--has almost completed construciton in the northeast corner of the museum compound." In 2002 construction on the front, two sides and inside was complete, but they were still working on the back wall (see below). In the background is Phu Si, the low mountain that overlooks Luang Prabang.
