The only 3-level main hall that I've seen in Korea.
 
 
 
 
The entrance to the temple is lined with huge hangari (for kochujang, dwenjang and other traditional condiments), and there are many more inside.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Check out the script on the far right. I thought they were highly stylized Chinese characters, but Brian says they are "Sanskrit, the Mantra of Avalokitesvara, i.e., Om Mani Pad Me Hum."
 
 
 
 
 
Visitors contribute to the temple by paying for a roof tile. They personalize it any way they wish.
